TheatreWorks’ 2010-2011 Season to Include Light in the Piazza, Premieres by Rajiv Joseph, Larry Grossman, Carol Hall

TheatreWorks has announced its 2010-2011 season, which will begin in the summer with the world premiere of Laura Schellhardt’s Auctioning the Ainsleys, to run July 14 – August 8.

The theater will offer two other world premieres in the coming year: a new musical version of Truman Capote’s A Christmas Memory (December 1-26), with book by Duane Poole, music by Larry Grossman, and lyrics by Carol Hall; and Rajiv Joseph’s The North Pool (March 9 – April 3).

The theater’s schedule also includes Adam Guettel and Craig Lucas’ The Light in the Piazza (August 25 – September 19), Tracy Letts’ Superior Donuts (October 6-31), The 39 Steps (January 19 – February 13), Kevin McKeon’s adaptation of David Guterson’s novel Snow Falling on Cedars (March 30 – April 24) and Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen’s [title of show] (June 1 – 26).
