Klea Blackhurst to Perform Everything The Traffic Will Allow at the Eureka Theatre

Klea Blackhurst will offer five performances of her show Everything the Traffic Will Allow: The Songs and Sass of Ethel Merman for 42nd Street Moon at the Eureka Theatre, April 21-25.

In the piece, Blackhurst delivers new interpretations of Merman’s signature songs such as “I Got Rhythm,” “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” and “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” as well as rarely performed numbers including “Just A Moment Ago,” “I’ve Still Got My Health,” and “World Take Me Back.”

The performer has won both the MAC and the Back Stage Bistro Award and has appeared at Joe’s Pub, Birdland, Carnegie Hall, the London Palladium, Royal Albert Hall, among others. Blackhurst has appeared in two Merman shows for the 42nd Street Moon, Call Me Madam and Red Hot and Blue. Among her other stage credits are Chicago, Bingo, Radio Gals, and By Jupiter.
