René Augesen, Charles Dean, Jack Willis, and More Set for A.C.T.’s War Music

Full casting has been announced for A.C.T.’s world premiere of War Music, adapted and directed by Lillian Groag based on Christopher Logue’s translation of the Iliad. It will play March 26-April 26, with an opening set for April 1.

The ensemble cast will include René Augesen (Aphrodite), Charles Dean (Homer 2), Lee Ernst (Agamemnon), Anthony Fusco (Homer), Sharon Lockwood (Hera), David A. Moss (Priam), Andy Murray (Foot soldier), Nicholas Pelczar (Menelaus), Christopher S. Tocco (Patroclus), Gregory Wallace (Hector), Erin Michelle Washington (Athena), Jud Williford (Achilles), and Jack Willis (Zeus).

The production will feature movement by award-winning opera, theater, and ballet choreographer Daniel Pelzig and original music composed by John Glover alongside an eclectic selection of rock and pop music. The creative team will also include Beaver Bauer (costume designer), Russell H. Champa (lighting designer), John Glover (composer), Jeff Mockus (sound designer), and Daniel Ostling (scenic designer).
