Jonathan Bock is set to star in the Cutting Ball Theater production of Will Eno’s solo piece, Thom Pain (based on nothing), set to run at EXIT theater, March 13-April 5. Marissa Wolf will direct.

Eno’s Pulitzer Prize nominated work is a one-man meditation on the empty promises that life makes, filled with biting humor, desire, and lost innocence.

Eno is a Guggenheim Fellow, a Helen Merrill Playwriting Fellow, a Fellow of the Edward F. Albee Foundation, and he received the first-ever Marian Seldes/Garson Kanin Playwriting Fellowship. Bock’s other San Francisco credits include As Bees in Honey Drown and Blue Grass.
