Producers Associates, Inc. has announced the productions set for the 46th Season of the Woodminster Summer Musicals, which produces musicals at Woodminster Amphitheater in Oakland’s Joaquin Miller Park.

The season’s first offering, Fiddler on the Roof (July 13-22), is the story of Tevye, a poor milk man in Czarist Russia, and his beautiful daughters. Then Woodminster Summer Musicals will present A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (August 10-19), a musical comedy that combines the comedy of ancient Roman playwright Plautus with the slapstick tradition of vaudeville. The popular Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Cats (September 7-16) will close the season.

Woodminster Amphitheater is an open-air performance facility in the Oakland Hills which boasts a beautiful view.
