The season's first offering, Fiddler on the Roof (July 13-22), is the story of Tevye, a poor milk man in Czarist Russia, and his beautiful daughters. Then Woodminster Summer Musicals will present A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (August 10-19), a musical comedy that combines the comedy of ancient Roman playwright Plautus with the slapstick tradition of vaudeville. The popular Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Cats (September 7-16) will close the season.
Woodminster Amphitheater is an open-air performance facility in the Oakland Hills which boasts a beautiful view.
