The play is a contemporary reimagining of "the lost years of Jesus Christ," featuring a teenaged and wayward Jesus of Nazareth. There will be a post-show discussion with the actors following the presentation.

The cast includes Damon Daunno (Jesus), Mahira Kakkar (Mahari/Mary), Bobak Bakhtiari (Gopal), Jessica Lynn Carroll (Abigail), and Jomar Tagatac (Sushil).

In addition to this free performance at the Laney College Theater, Jesus In India runs January 25 through February 19 at Magic Theatre.
