David Bicha, Laurie Bushman, Deena Davenport, et al. Set for Scalpel! Musical

Casting has been announced for D’Arcy Drollinger’s musical Scalpel!, to run March 31-April 17 at the Brava Theater Center. Drollinger will direct the production and Scrumbly Koldewyn will serve as musical director.

The show focuses on a wealthy New York socialite whose plastic surgery proves to have unexpected and frightening side effects.

The company will feature David Bicha, Laurie Bushman, Deena Davenport, Mike Finn, Marilyn Fowler, Arturo Galster , Cindy Goldfield, Jordan L’Moore, Emily McGowan, and Katie Rubin. The creative team will include Matt McAdon (scenic design), Abra Berman (costume design), and Dave Maier (fight choreographer).

Drollinger’s other works include The Possession of Mrs. Jones, Pink Elephants, Above and Beyond the Valley of the Ultra Showgirls, Suburbia 3000, and The Cereal Killers.
