San Jose Repertory Announces Cast, Creative Team for A Picasso

Cast and creative team information has been announced for the San Jose Repertory production of A Picasso, to run January 24-February 22. Jonathan Moscone will direct.

Jeffrey Hatcher’s two-hander centers in on a moment of German occupied Paris in 1941, when Pablo Picasso is brought to a vault beneath the city to authenticate three paintings acquired by the Germans for Miss Fischer, an Adjunct of the Ministry of Culture in Berlin.

The cast will feature James Carpenter as Pablo Picasso and Carrie Paff as Miss Fischer. The creative team will include Erik Flatmo (set designer), Jeff Mockus (sound designer), Meg Neville (costume designer), and Japhy Weideman (lighting designer).
