(© Craig Schwartz) | Full casting has been announced for the Old Globe's 12th annual production of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, to run November 21 - December 27. Benjamin Endsley Klein will direct the production.
With book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin, the production will star Jeff Skowron in the title role. The company will also feature Martin Van Treuren (Old Max), Logan Lipton (Young Max), Shea Starrs Siben and Anna Bahen (Cindy-Lou Who), Anne Fraser Thomas (Mama Who), Steve Gunderson (Papa Who), Kürt Norby (Grandpa Who), Eileen Bowman (Grandma Who), Dylan Nalbandian and Jonas McMullen (Boo Who), Alison Grace Norwood and Danica Waitley (Annie Who), A.J. Foggiano and Dylan Mulvaney (Danny Who), Gaby Greenwald and Kayla Solsbak (Betty-Lou Who) with Aaron Acosta, Amy Biedel, Felicity Bryant, Genevieve Ciavarelli, Karli Cruise, Shianne Evans, Anna George, Aidan Cruz Hayek, Hannah Rose Kornfeld, Ashley Fox Linton, Allison Ma, Erik McEwen, Michael Mendez, Jordan Miller, Anise Ritchie, James Vasquez, and Alexis Louise Young (Ensemble).
The original production of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! was conceived and directed by Jack O'Brien with original choreography by John DeLuca. This season's production features musical direction by John Samorian, additional choreography by Bob Richard with choreography restaged by James Vasquez. The creative team also includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Robert Morgan (costume design), Pat Collins (lighting design), and Paul Peterson (sound design).
