The Lorax and More on Tap for San Diego's Old Globe Next Summer

The Dr. Seuss story comes to the stage in a new adaptation from London.

San Diego's Old Globe Theatre has announced additional productions for its 2018 summer season.

The summer season will include the Old Vic Theatre's production of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax, directed by Max Webster. Adapted by David Greig and featuring songs by Charlie Fink, the musical is choreographed by Drew McOnie and designed by Rob Howell (sets and costumes), Jon Clark (lighting), Tom Gibbons (sound), and Finn Caldwell and Nick Barnes (puppets). Phil Bateman serves as musical director. It runs July 2-August 12.

Also on tap are Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park directed by Jessica Stone (July 28-August 26), The Tempest (June 17-July 22), and Much Ado About Nothing directed by Kathleen Marshall (August 12-September 16).
