San Diego's Old Globe Theatre has announced the productions that will be presented during its 80th anniversary summer season in 2015.

Darko Tresnjak, a former Old Globe Shakespeare Festival artistic director and winner of the 2014 Best Direction of a Musical Tony for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will return to direct Kiss Me, Kate (July 1-August 2). The classic musical features music and lyrics by Cole Porter, book by Sam and Bella Spewack, and choreography by Peggy Hickey, in association with Hartford Stage.

The season will also include two Shakespearean classics. First, director Rebecca Taichman will helm Twelfth Night (June 21-July 26), and then six-time Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis will make his Old Globe directorial debut with The Comedy of Errors (August 16-September 20).

The final offering of the season will be the West Coast premiere of Ken Ludwig’s comedy Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery (July 24-August 23).
