Luise Heath, Victor Morris, DeBorah Sharpe-Taylor, et al. Set for Storyville; Ken Page to Direct

San Diego REPertory Theatre has announced casting for Storyville, to run November 13 – December 12 on the Lyceum Stage. Ken Page will direct the production, which will have musical direction by William Foster McDaniel and feature choreography by Hector Mercado.

With music and lyrics by Mildred Kayden and an original book by Ed Bullins, revised by director Page, the show focuses on the denizens of a bawdy saloon/cabaret in 1917 New Orleans.

The company will feature DeBorah Sharpe-Taylor (Mama Cecelyn), Victor Morris (Hot Licks Sam), Luise Heath (Countess Willie), Paul James Kruse (Mayor “Mickey” Mulligan), Alvester Martin III (Butch Cobra Brown), Natalie Wachen (Tigre Savoy), and La Tahj Myers (Georgie “Punchie” Savoy).

The creative team will include John Anderson (scenic design), Steven Young (lighting design), Jeanne Reith (costume design), and Tom Jones (sound design).
