Alan Mandell, Kathryn Meisle, Anneliese van der Pol, et al. Set for La Jolla Playhouse’s A Dram of Drummhicit

Full cast and creative team have been announced for the La Jolla Playhouse’s production of A Dram of Drummhicit, by Arthur Kopit and Anton Dudley, to run at the Mandell Weiss Theatre, May 17-June 12. The production will be directed by Christopher Ashley.

In the play, an American entrepreneur has found the perfect Scottish island on which to build his new golf course, but as secrets and bodies are uncovered, havoc ensues.

The cast will feature Kelly AuCoin, John Ahlin, Ron Choularton, Joseph Culliton, Murphy Guyer, Lucas Hall, Alan Mandell, Larry Paulson, Daniel Rubiano, and Anneliese van der Pol, as well as Natalie Birriel, Gabriel Lawrence, Jenni Putney, Megan Robinson, and Taylor Shurte.

The creative team includes David Zinn (sets), David C. Woolard (costumes), Philip Rosenberg (lighting), and John Gromada (music composition/sound).
