Harriet Harris, Doris Roberts, Richard Thomas to Headline La Jolla’s Unusual Acts of Devotion

Harriet Harris, Doris Roberts, Richard Thomas, Maria Dizzia, Joe Manganiello, and Evan Powell will star in the La Jolla Playhouse’s production of Terrence McNally’s Unusual Acts of Devotion, to run June 2-28. The production, which will open officially on June 10, will be directed by Trip Cullman.
The play concerns a group of Greenwich Village residents who gather to celebrate a wedding anniversary and end up confronting some uncomfortable truths. McNally, a four-time Tony Award winner is the author of numerous plays and musicals including Love! Valour! Compassion!, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, and Master Class.
The creative team includes Santo Loquasto (sets), Jess Goldstein (costumes), Ben Stanton (lighting), and John Gromada (sound).
