La Jolla Playhouse has announced that its WoW (Without Walls) production The Car Plays: San Diego will extend for two performances through March 11.

Conceived by Paul Stein, The Car Plays: San Diego features a series of intimate ten-minute plays, which audiences of two view by moving from car to car.

Due to the success of The Car Plays: San Diego as well as their first WoW production Susurrus, La Jolla Playhouse is also announcing plans for their first WoW Festival, to take place in October 2013. The festival will feature the return of The Car Plays as well as work by puppeteer Basil Twist and playwright Naomi Iizuka.
