About This Venue

Committed to the development of new works for the stage, Perishable Theatre seeks to produce, present, and incubate works for the stage that are innovative in both form and content. Whether it is producing groundbreaking works on our Mainstage or providing theatre arts access to Rhode Island's youth, Perishable's programming dares audiences of all ages to challenge assumptions about how we live our lives today. Perishable Theatre's programming includes the Mainstage (which includes an International Women's Playwriting Festival).
