Forbidden Broadway: 20th Anniversary Celebration is Gerard Alessandrini's latest edition of his scathingly hilarious, deliriously funny love letter to the theater that's been a New York institution for twenty years. The show slings arrows at The Producers, Mamma Mia, Oklahoma!, Aida, Contact, The Full Monty, in addition to The Lion King, Cabaret, Fiddler on the Roof and Chicago, as well as such celebrities as Elaine Stritch, Ethel Merman, Liza Minnelli, Sarah Brightman, and several more surprise favorites.
