The Nyack-based nonprofit ArtsRock will present an evening with Tony and four-time Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce. Elliott Forrest, the Peabody Award-winning WQXR/WNYC broadcaster, will be on hand to discuss Pierce's life and career. Footage from the actor's stage, TV, and film work will be shown during the talk for a complete night of fun.

The conversation will take place on Sunday, April 14, at 7:30pm at the Rittenhausen Theater at BOCES.

David Hyde Pierce can currently be seen on Broadway in Christopher Durang's new play, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. He won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for the Kander & Ebb tuner Curtains. Other recent Broadway credits include Spamalot, La Bête, and Accent on Youth. Pierce has also appeared on film in Sleepless in Seattle and Down with Love, and has lent his voice to Disney's Treasure Planet and Pixar's A Bug's Life. He is perhaps best known for playing psychiatrist Niles Crane on the TV show Frasier, for which he won four Emmy Awards.

Tickets are currently on sale for ArtsRock's conversation with David Hyde Pierce. They can be purchased in advance for $25 or on the day of the interview for $30.
