WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Yasmina Reza's contemporary comedy stormed New York, wowed the critics, and won the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play. Now, The Public is thrilled to produce the Pittsburgh premiere of this international blockbuster. In God of Carnage, husband and wife Alan and Annette visit Michael and Veronica at their trendy Brooklyn apartment to discuss a playground fight between their young sons. Although the setting is civilized and diplomacy is the intention, the evening becomes anything but cordial as a verbal brawl ensues that is both hostile -- and hilarious.
