Luke Macfarlane will star in Keith Bunin’s Sam Bendrix at the Bon Soir, to run November 12 – December 18 at the City Theatre in Pittsburgh. Mark Rucker will direct the production.

The play centers on a young man who is offering his final performance at a Greenwich Village club in 1958 and also waiting for a special someone who has not shown up for the event. The production will feature music by Cole Porter, Leonard Bernstein and the Gershwins.

Macfarlanee recently was seen on Broadway in The Normal Heart, and also has appeared in Juvenilia, Where Do We Live?, and The Busy World Is Hushed. He may be best known for playing Scotty Wendell on ABC’s Brothers and Sisters.
