Full Cast Announced for Pittsburgh CLO’s Smokey Joe’s Cafe

Philip Boykin, Terry Burrell, Renée Feder, Bob Gaynor, Deb Lyons, Kevyn Morrow, Clifton Oliver, Debra Walton and Harrison White will star in Barry Ivan’s production of the revue Smokey Joe’s Cafe, to play the Pittsburgh CLO, July 15-20.

The show features the music and lyrics of Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller, who wrote such hit songs as “Hound Dog,” “Love Potion #9,” “Fools Fall in Love,” and “Yakety Yak.”

The CLO season also includes the beloved family musical Peter Pan (June 21-July 2), directed by Glenn Casale, and starring Cathy Rigby in the title role and Tom Hewitt as Captain Hook; Mame (July 8-13), to be directed by Richard Sabellico, starring Michele Lee, Ruth Williamson, Donna Lynne Champlin, John Hickok, Mary Stout, Patrick Boll, Barbara McCulloh, and Orville Mendoza; Jenn Colella and Matthew Ashford in Charles Repole’s production of Irving Berlin’s Annie Get Your Gun (July 22-August 3); and Van Kaplan’s production of West Side Story (August 5-17), starring Max von Essen as Tony and Ali Ewoldt as Maria.
