David Osmond will star as Joseph in Pittsburgh CLO's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. This Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice musical will play the Benedum Center, May 26-June 7.

The cast will also include the previously announced Broadway veterans Peter Matthew Smith (Pharaoh) and Shoshana Bean (Narrator).

Osmond understudied the role of Joseph during his uncle Donny Osmond's run in the national tour, and later took over the role. He also previously played Joseph in Pittsburgh CLO's 1998 production of the show. He was the lead singer of The Osmond Boys beginning at the age of four, with the group later evolving into The Osmonds: 2nd Generation. Most recently, he advanced to the "Hollywood Round" of American Idol.
