The Table
The Table Tickets and Information
Synopsis
The Table explores the comical, enlightening and therapeutic stories of massage enthusiasts and massage therapists. The play generates an open dialogue about the curiosities, misperceptions and taboos of this 5,000 year old healing art.
Each performance will be unique as the audience and actors add to the creative process, including Who's Line Is It Anyway? type actor/audience scenes and a chance for audience members to add to the musical dimension of the show in the classic Peter and the Wolf style. The audience will get into the spirit of the play as volunteers offer a relaxing shoulder massage before the performance. Plan to arrive early.
World Premiere
This show is part of the Philly Fringe Festival 2007.
