Synopsis
The 11th Hour Theatre Company of Philadelphia joins forces with Montgomery Theater of Souderton to stage a wild, uproarious musical spoof of the hilariously awful 1936 anti-marijuana propaganda film, which later became a campy cult classic on the college circuit.
The tongue-in-cheek musical comedy tells the tale of Jimmy Harper, an All-American youth whose life falls into a pit of debauchery and despair after one puff of the evil cigarette! Will his love for the beautiful Mary Lane be enough to save him from the wickedness of "Mary Jane?" With musical numbers ranging from Broadway showstoppers to 1940's swing to blazing rock 'n' roll, you won't be able to resist this "hit" musical!
