Pregnant and not quite ready for motherhood, Sally stalls for time by hanging upside down on an inversion rack. Liz, her partner--spending too much time staring at Sally's knees and baffled by her new penchant for constructing outrageously large baby toys--runs to her father for support. Except that he's dying and Liz's ex- lover is somehow trapped under his bed. A couple of hospital orderlies arrive to help out, but instead wax philosophical quoting Desiderata.
