11th Hour Theatre Company presents Avenue X, by John Jiler and Ray Leslee.

Set in Brooklyn, N.Y., 1963, Avenue X is the story of two young men, who want nothing more than to sing at the Legendary Fox Theater. The only problem is, one of them is white and the other is black. This poignant, emotionally charged musical deals with the issues of prejudice and how music allows us to look past the color of someone's skin and see our similarities rather than our differences. 11th Hour brings doo wop music back to Philly with this A Capella musical.
