WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Prince offers a fresh take on Irving Berlin's musical masterpiece Annie Get Your Gun. The holiday production looks with new eyes at the American pioneer story of young Annie Oakley, as she wins the heart of sharpshooter Frank Butler and of all America with her spunk, courage, and unbeatable marksmanship. This exuberant musical features hit after hit, from comic show-stoppers to sweeping ballads: "Doin' What Comes Naturally," "You Can't Get a Man with a Gun," "They Say that Falling in Love is Wonderful," "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better," and the haunting "I Got Lost in His Arms." Irving Berlin's effortless genius created one of the all-time great scores of the American stage.

In addition, the Prince production is directed by Richard M. Parison, the man behind the theater's staging of Dreamgirls, which had audiences storming the box office last holiday season; and it stars hometown favorite Andrea McArdle, who won hearts and a Tony nomination for her performance in the title role of the original Broadway production of Annie in 1977.
