Synopsis

From the author of BRT's acclaimed production of Communicating Doors comes this classic comedy. A charming look at the game of love, this play in three acts tells the tales of three married couples and their fortunes on Christmas. They find in each other something inescapably captivating in a play full of warmth, wit, and unending humor. Originally produced on Broadway in 1974 with a powerhouse cast featuring Broadway legends Carole Shelley, Richard Kiley, Geraldine Page and Tony Roberts, Absurd Person Singular is a potent work by one of the most prolific and widely performed of English language playwrights.
