The full cast and creative team have been announced for the Gas & Electric Arts production of Anna Bella Eema, September 23-October 11, by Obie-award winning playwright Lisa D'Amour.

Anna Bella Eema is a trailer-park odyssey about a precocious 10-year-old girl and her mother who live on the edge of extinction. When Anna Bella breathes life into a girl made out of mud the story moves quickly into a sea of vampires, wild animals, and police chases.

The cast will feature Elena Bossler as Anna Bella, Kristie J. Lang as Irene, and Kate DeRosa as Anna Bella Eema. The creative team will include James Clotfelter (lighting design), Matt Saunders (set design), and Susan Smythe (costume design).

D'Amour won an Obie Award for her play Nita and Zita in 2003, and her other works include 16 Spells to Charm the Beast, Homefree, The Divine Feast, Future Struck, and Red Death.
