Mauckingbird Theatre Company to Present John Logan's Never the Sinner: The Leopold and Loeb Story

The cast and creative team have been announced for the Mauckingbird Theatre Company production of John Logan's Never the Sinner: The Leopold and Loeb Story, August 8-30, set to play at the Adrienne Theatre with Peter Reynolds at the helm.

Logan's play is based on the true story of two young Chicago millionaires who set out to commit the perfect murder in the Spring of 1924. Driven by passion and intellect, Richard Loeb and his lover Nathan Leopold Jr. brutally killed fourteen-year-old Bobby Franks for the thrill of it. The cast will star Evan Jonigkeit, Nicholas Park, Dan Kern, Eric Kramer, and feature Jessica Bedford, and Matthew Lorenz.

The creative team will include Marie Anne Chiment (set/costume design) and Maria Shaplin (lighting design).
