Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Prince Music Theater's revival of the 1957 Harold Arlen-E.Y. Harburg musical Jamaica, to run May 31-June 22. The production will be directed by Ozzie Jones.

The show is a comic fable about a Caribbean girl named Savannah, who longs to escape the confines and drudgery of island life, and gets swept up in the plans of Joe, a fast-talking New York businessman. The original production starred Harry Belafonte, Lena Horne, Ricardo Montalban, and Ossie Davis.

The production will star Barrett Doss (Savannah), Sean Thompson (Joe), Julian A. Miller (Koli), Chanta C. Layton (Ginger), Victor Rodriguez (Cicero), and Darlene B. Young (Mama Obeah), along with Dan Schiff, Karama Buter, James Rodney Clark, Terrence Clowe, Donnie Hammond, Peter John Rios, and Sheree-Monique Roberts.

The creative team includes Tania Issac and Jumatatu Poe (choreographers), Daniel Boylen (sets), J. Derwin Cooper (costumes), Shelley Hicklin (lighting), Nick Kourtides (sound), J. Alex Cordaro (fight direction), John Baxindine (orchestrations), and Eric Barnes (music direction). Jones' directorial credits include Black Nativity, for which he won the Barrymore Award, and Jitney.
