WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A mysterious outsider, who brings with her promises of a new lease on life, fascinates the regulars of a rural Irish pub. Drinking ensues and the barroom chat soon becomes a series of increasingly spooky and distressing tales. Irish wunderkind Conor McPherson's The Weir, winner of two 1998 Olivier Awards, including Best New Play, is a stirring tale about people losing and looking for kindred spirits.
