A treasure trove is waiting at the Walnut Street Theatre, as the thrill of bidding and the climactic pound of the gavel announce the plunder for auction at the Swashbuckler Soiree, Walnut Street Theatre's 7th Annual Auction. The year's fundraiser, benefiting the Walnut's education department, adds to the fun as a pirate theme takes over the Walnut! Volunteers, staff, board members and local businesses come together to auction donated items and gift packages. Exiciting packages such as accomodations at the borgota casino hotel and spa, or a family pack of four tickets to the independence seaport museum or the Adventure Aquarium, are only some of the fun and exciting things that are auctioned off at the theater. Whether its the pirates, the fantastic items, the fine wine, or the fun, you can share in the festiviities and help support a very worthy cause.
