WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The timeless family drama by Ruth & Augustus Goetz, based on Henry James' novel Washington Square, is the winner of the 1995 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Revival. Catherine, a shy young woman, is torn between two men, her father and her would-be suitor. She must decide if her father is correct in assuming Morris is nothing more than a fortune-hunter. Will she lose her father or the man she loves?
