WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
While trying to get her daughter treated at an ER, Louise, a 39-year-old welfare mom, meets Harry, a 23-year-old wheelchair-bound paraplegic, and the two break through their psychological and physical paralysis to develop an unlikely romance. Pyretown is a contemporary and affecting love story about two people seeking connection and humanity in an inhumane system. John Belluso is an award-winning playwright whose work often explores issues of disability.
