Robert Brustein's new adaptation of Aristophanes' irreverent anti-war farce Lysistrata features the music of Galt MacDermot (Hair). Set in modern times, this is the story of "Lys," the wife of the president of an unnamed country, as she organizes all the wives to boycott their husbands' bedrooms until the men put an end to senseless war. Cherry Jones stars in the title role.
