WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Losing the Shore is a historical fiction following politician Adlai Stevenson as he cruises across the Pacific between elections. Set in the 1950s, his ocean voyage parallels the trial and sentencing of the Rosenbergs. This historical event serves as a prism to reflect the various perspectives of his traveling companions and their collective yet fragmented red scare American psyche.
