Outgoing and bubbly sorority star Elle Woods doesn't take "no" for an answer from anyone. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before - Harvard Law School! Although she initially enrolls at Harvard to win back her ex-boyfriend, Elle discovers along the way how knowledge of the law can help others, successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial and, most importantly, proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.
