WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
When an angry and lost man arrives at Seth & Bertha Holly's boarding house looking for his wife, forcibly removed from him years ago when he was captured and put in a chain gang by a man named Joe Turner, these once strangers are forced to confront their own demons and to come together to help him find his way. August Wilson is heralded as one of the greatest writers of the 20th century to explore black consciousness and culture.
