Just named the Barrymore Awards' Best Actress in a Musical for her starring role as Vera Simpson in the Prince Music Theater revival of Pal Joey, Christine Andreas takes to the Prince mainstage in December with Bewitched . . . Again!, a new show created just for the holidays. Andreas, who wowed critics and audiences with her show-stopping Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, stopped the show once again when she performed the number recently during the Barrymore Awards. Her new show features selections from Andreas' newest CD, The Carlyle Set!, produced by Martin Silvestri, along with numbers hand-picked just for this engagement. It's an elegant collection of songs both new and familiar by legendary composers such as Rodgers & Hart, Michel LeGrand, Burt Bacharach, Marvin Hamlisch as well as contemporary songwriters such as Mary Chapin Carpenter and Dave Frishberg. Andreas jazz' it up with a quartet of internationally acclaimed musicians led by Lee Musiker, music director for Maureen McGovern, Jerry Lewis and Tony Bennett.
