WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In Cheryl L. West's Birdie Blue, Birdie and her husband Jackson are going on a trip, and it's going to be a life-changing experience. So Birdie has chosen as their departure date the anniversary of another day that changed her life forever: the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. This is a poignant and funny new play about life, love, getting old, and going home.
