The Theater Alliance of Greater Philadelphia presents Behind the Scenes, a full day of theatrical events at urban and suburban theatres. Each participating company will present hour-long, interactive programming at various times throughout the day. Events include backstage tours, stage combat workshops, mask-making workshops, and improvisational acting classes. The Kimmel Center on the Avenue of the Arts serves as a "home base" location for the event.

The event runs from 10am-6pm. "Backstage Passports" are $10 in advance for individuals and $15 for a family of up to four. They will be sold a half hour before each event at every participating venue at $15 for individuals and $20 for families of up to four.
