WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
With dazzling theatrics and fantastical storytelling, Mary Zimmerman's Argonautika recounts Jason's perilous quest to capture the Golden Fleece. With goddesses at their side, Jason and his crew encounter monsters, nymphs, demons and other astonishing obstacles. Heroes are made and destroyed, and promises made in the name of love are broken.
