WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

A Night in the Old Marketplace is a Klezmer tale about people who dare to rouse the spirits of the dead in order to heal past wrongs. Conceived and directed by Alexandra Aron and adapted from the Yiddish masterwork by I.L. Peretz, the show features a book and lyrics by Emmy-Award winner Glen Berger, and a score by Grammy Award winner Frank London, whose last production at the Prince, Green Violin, won 4 Barrymore Awards.

Presented on the Gisela and Dennis Alter Mainstage.
