Philadelphia's Walnut Street Theatre has announced the lineup of productions set for its 2015-16 season — the venue's 207th year of programming.

Cole Porter's musical comedy High Society — based on the film musical starring Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, and Frank Sinatra — will open the season. Performances will run from September 8-October 25, with opening night scheduled for September 16.

A Christmas Story, The Musical will follow as the theater's holiday offering. Based on the classic 1983 movie, the show (which debuted on Broadway in 2012) features music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and a book by Joseph Robinette. Performances will run from November 10-January 10, 2016, with opening night scheduled for November 18.

Next up will be Mary Chase's 1945 Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy, Harvey, set to run from January 19-March 6, 2016 (opening on January 27), followed by Rick Elice's Tony-nominated Peter Pan prequel, Peter and the Starcatcher, running from March 15-May 1, 2016 (opening on March 23).

Closing out the season will be Sister Act, the Tony-nominated musical adaptation of the 1992 film. Performances will run from May 17-July 17, 2016, with opening night scheduled for May 25.
