Krista Apple, David Raphaely et al. Set for Walnut Street’s Proof

Walnut Street Theatre’s Independence Studio on 3 will be home to David Auburn’s acclaimed play, Proof, prior to a national tour. The production will run January 17-February 5, with an opening on January 19. Kate Galvin will direct.

Proof is a remarkable and luminous play about fathers and daughters, genius and insanity, legacy and truth. The play introduces us to a young woman troubled by the recent death of her father and explores the fears she faces as she explores her legacy.

Proof will star Krista Apple as Claire, Alex Keiper at Catherine, David Raphaely as Hal and Bill Van Horn as Robert. Designers will include Andrew Thompson (set design), J. Dominic Chacon (lighting design), Lauren Perigard (costume design), and Cory Neale (sound design).
