Walnut Street Theatre Announces Cast for Eclectic Society

The Walnut Street Theatre has announced casting for the world premiere of Eric Conger’s The Eclectic Society, to play January 19-March 7, with an opening on January 27. Ed Herendeen will direct.

The play is set in early November, 1963 on a New England University campus. Things start to change with the arrival of an African-American scholarship student from the ghettos of Cleveland.

The cast will include Paul Felder (Sean O’Dey), Ed Renninger (Seth Flugelman), Brian Cowden (Oliver Nash), Carl Clemons-Hopkins (Floyd Wiggins), Jamie Branagh (Loren Bishop), J. Alex Brinson (Darrell Freeman), David Raphaely (Alberto Barzaga), James Stover (Robert Bates III), Noah Mazaika (Douglas Crockett), Julianna Zinkel (Tina Merriweather), Jeffrey de Picciotto (Tony Caroli), and Dan Amboyer (Society President Tom Rockwell).

The creative team will include Robert Klingelhoefer (set), Paul Black (lighting), Colleen Grady (costumes), and Christopher Colucci (sound).
