Motherhood the Musical Extends Through December 31

The Philadelphia-area production of Motherhood the Musical, at Society Hill Playhouse, has announced an extension, and will now play through December 31, 2011.
The musical, from author and songwriter Sue Fabisch, shares the humorous and loving journey of four women: Amy, a soon-to-be first-time mom; Barb, an over-worked, underpaid, stressed-out mother of five; Brooke, a lawyer who works too much and barely sees her kids; and Tasha, a single mom struggling to balance work, family, and a divorce. It is a musical comedy highlighting the universal blessings and perils of being a mother.
The cast includes Ilona Ahearn as Brooke, Donnie Hammond as Tasha, Ellie Mooney as Amy, and Ashley Turba & Gina Handy as Barb.
