Keith Conallen, Charlotte Ford Set for Theatre Exile’s Gruesome Playground Injuries

Theatre Exile has announced casting for the Philadelphia premiere of Rajiv Joseph’s Gruesome Playground Injuries, to run November 10-December 4. Deborah Block will direct.

The play chronicles the 30-year friendship between Kayleen and Doug, to be played by Charlotte Ford and Keith Conallen, respectively. Starting with a chance meeting in the school nurse’s office, the two eight-year-olds form a bond that will sustain them through the dangerous task of living.

The design team will include set designer Dan Boylen, sound designer Scott Burgess, lighting designer Drew Billau, and costume designer Alison Roberts.
