Jeffrey Coon, Jennifer Hope Wills to Star in Walnut Street Theatre’s The Music Man

Walnut Street Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming production of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, to run November 6-January 6 on the WST Mainstage. Marc Robin will direct and choreograph.

In The Music Man, the fast-talking con man Harold Hill arrives in River City, Iowa promising that he can teach the town’s children to play in a magnificent marching band.

Jeffrey Coon and Jennifer Hope Wills will star as Harold Hill and his love interest Marian Paroo. The cast will also include Joey Abramowicz, Anthony Lawton, Mary Martello, Stanley Martin, Ellie Mooney, Fran Prisco, Rebecca Robbins, Alene Robertson, Kerri Rose, Nicholas F. Saverine, Erica Sweany, Bill Van Horn, Denise Whelan, Randall Frizado, Sarah Meahl, Kevin Munhall, Alex Pepper, Chuck Ragsdale, Joseph Torello, and Shannon Walter.

Philadelphia area kids who will be featured in the production are Vincent Crocilla and Jared Brito (Winthrop Paroo), Jamieson O’Brien and Lisa Diaz (Amarylis), and Gaby Bradbury and Cameron Flurry (Gracie Shinn), as well as Paige Brady, Dante Bruzzese, Giuliana Bruzzese, Angela Marie Burtulato, Jake Cedar, Erik Daughterman, Sara Fisher, Zoe Grace Fox, Sam Gamberg, Kurt Hartwell, Tyler Hentz, Jonathon Krippe, Grace Matwijec, Hope McQuoid, Lucy McQuoid, Molly McQuoid, William McQuoid, Skylar Raye Noyes, Alexander Ryan, Julia Seeley, Nicky Torchia, Audrey Trullinger, and Alicia Vogel.

The design team will feature Robert Andrew Kovach (set design), Paul Black (lighting design), Colleen Grady (costume design), and Robert Kaplowitz (sound design).
